- Outbound HTTPS to asteria.run required for register, heartbeat, and commands
- Firewall / change control — decoy ports and
AR-BLOCKrules must be approved in your environment - Integrity — compare the SHA-256 above after download; treat SmartScreen warnings seriously until builds are code-signed
Install flow (recommended)
Create your Asteria account
Register with your work email so multiple agents can link under one membership.
Download & verify
Save the installer, check SHA-256 (PowerShell: Get-FileHash .\\cloud-client-installer.exe -Algorithm SHA256), then run elevated if your policy requires it.
Register & link
Complete the agent wizard, open the dashboard link, sign in with your account, and confirm the server shows online.
Enable traps carefully
Turn on decoys that match your policy. Read Security and Threat scenarios first if this is a production host.
Code signing & SmartScreen
Unsigned or newly signed installers may trigger Windows SmartScreen or AV heuristics — common for security tooling. Prefer the hash on this page, your internal software catalog pin, and eventual Authenticode-signed releases. We do not ask you to disable AV globally.
