Where do I download the agent?
Use /download — it always points at the latest Asteria Agent Windows installer from GitHub Releases. Verify the SHA-256 shown there.
How do I open the dashboard?
Create an account, install the agent, then link the server. Sign in with your membership email at asteria.run. Advanced: single-server sign-in with server name/IP and that server’s dashboard password.
What does Standard include vs Premium?
Standard: cloud overview and linking servers with limited history. Premium: traps, threat center, auto-block, remote desktop & host actions, Tools & Repair, threat intel feed, and full alerts. See the matrix on Features and checkout on Pricing.
What is Windows Tools & Repair?
A Premium dashboard toolkit (agent ≥4.9.79) to catalog, diagnose, and run guided OS repairs — Winsock/firewall/Windows Update resets and related actions — over the secure control channel, with soft/hard confirmation for destructive steps. Details: Features → Ops & repair.
How does the site language switch work?
The marketing site is written in English. Use the EN | TR control in the header for an on-page translation (Google Translate). The dashboard may have its own language prefs separately.
What data leaves my server?
Heartbeats, decoy attack events (including credentials attempted on bait), threat summaries, and outcomes of actions you trigger. Full detail: Security and Privacy.
Which permissions does the agent need?
Decoy listeners, Windows Firewall rules you request (AR-BLOCK / AR-INTEL), outbound HTTPS to Asteria cloud, and — when you use Premium remote control — process/session actions you initiate. See Security whitepaper.
Will this break my production RDP?
Decoys are separate listeners you enable. Misconfiguration is possible if you collide ports or confuse bait with production — treat trap enablement like any other change-controlled network change. Prefer documenting decoy ports for your NOC.
I forgot my password
Sign in → Forgot password. Enter the notification email on your account. We send a one-time reset link if it matches.
SmartScreen / antivirus warns on the installer
Common for newly published security binaries. Verify SHA-256 on Download, prefer internal catalog pinning, and wait for Authenticode-signed builds. Don’t disable AV entirely.
Is Asteria a SIEM or EDR replacement?
No. It’s a deception + response layer for Windows hosts. Keep EDR, patching, backups, and perimeter controls.
How do seats work?
Premium includes a fixed number of servers; add-ons extend the fleet. Exact numbers and checkout: Pricing.
